Studying a CHC50513 Diploma of Youth Justice will give you the tools and knowledge to make a real difference in the lives of young people who have, or are at risk of offending. You’ll learn a wide range of skills from managing service response to young people in crisis, to working in the youth justice environment, to learning how to work effectively with clients with complex alcohol, and/or drug issues.

Working with the Community Services and Youth faculty’s highly experienced tutors at Evocca, you’ll learn to be an advocate for young people during family conferences and courtroom appearances, be part of a team working with youth at risk, or work in a residential care facility with young people who are unable to remain in their own homes or who are at risk of homelessness.

Whether looking to become a youth worker, a youth justice conference convener, or a case worker, this course will equip you with the skills to succeed and transform the lives of young people in need.

You will also complete 240 hours of vocational placement within a youth justice environment to practise your skills.

CHC50513 Diploma of Youth Justice

Our CHC50513 Diploma of Youth Justice has 14 units structured into 3 major clusters of learning. Each cluster contains units grouped into core study areas that are covered during the 15-month qualification. Students will also complete 240 hours of vocational placement during their studies which will form part of their assessment*. The tuition fee for this course is $10,000
